Power Systems Experience
Technixs has a history of quality power installations
and flexible working arrangements. highly experienced field engineers ready
to perform engineering or installation services for power systems on short
notice or long-term assignments. Our depth of experience in all aspects of
central office operations assures that our engineers consider the
procedural, safety, and mechanical segments of power system installations
for each customer.
Currently, our equipment-engineering group consists of approximately 20 field or detail
engineers. They are trained on Bell Core standards, use CAD tools where applicable and
provide detailed project plans, drawings, bills of materials, Method of Procedures (MOPs),
and material kits in line with the installation environment and customer requirements. In
addition, Technixs's power technicians have been certified in turn-up and maintenance of
both central office and field power plants.
Completion of the engineering, supply, and installation of complete central
office power system for several CLEC customers, including MCI, Hyperion.
Typically these projects include the engineering and installation of customer provided
power plants and battery systems. Systems installed,
tested and in operation involve a wide range of manufacturer's including
Nortel, Lucent, Power Conversion Products, C&D/Ratelco, Argus, Peco II, Lorain,
Yuasa and others. These systems range in size from 500AH up to 8400 AH in capacity.
